  • One safe way

  • At this course, safe surgical practices are introduced in a controlled workshop covering three main areas; open surgery, trauma, orthopedics and minimally invasive surgery. Abdominal incision, drain placement and closure done with two layers of suture pads to simulate skin, subcutaneous tissues, linea alba and peritoneum

  • These house officers with a special interest in surgery had the opportunity to participate in a workshop based on the Standardised Basic Surgical Skills Course arranged by Seal, Capio, Johnson & Johnson - Ethicon and Stortz

  • At this course we organize a hands-on workshop allowing the participants to share their real life experiences and skills and to become familiar with the training models with which we eventually equip them. The participants are surgeons, very experienced non-physician clinicians, midwives, nurses and government officials
  • Maternal Health

  • Here one sees a group of midwives of the midwifery program at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, practicing suturing techniques. The training model can be attached to any smooth surface, such as a whiteboard to further increase the visibility for the group and give you a hands free and correct working position by the different ways the training model can be set up.
